/ KR HOUSE

KR House, is a private residence designed with a primary concept of responding harmoniously to its diverse contextual environment. The building is organized into two levels: the ground floor accommodates the living room, which also functions as the central communal space, while the second floor is dedicated to private areas, such as the bedrooms.

A significant design feature of KR House is the continuous application of a cohesive color palette that extends from the exterior façade to the interior spaces. This approach enhances the building's visual integration with its surroundings, while also reinforcing the overarching design philosophy. Black-painted brick is employed as the secondary cladding material for the exterior, serving both an aesthetic and protective function. This material choice aligns with the design’s conceptual intent of shielding the interior from external environmental factors while creating a strong, unified exterior expression. The brickwork is meticulously arranged with attention to the bonding pattern, achieving a dynamic visual texture and a well-proportioned façade composition that emphasizes the interplay of material and form.

The selection of materials, combined with careful consideration of the brick's arrangement, not only enhances the building's architectural identity but also reflects a commitment to contextual sensitivity and functional durability.
